Canadian CBC Tax Waste

The Canadian public funds the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) to the point of something like 2 BILLION dollars per year.
Given that subsidy, is there any question in your taxpayer mind over who owns whatever the CBC might dig up in the way of news?
Well, I've written about this in the past but it seems the CBC hasn't learned anything - they still don't "get it."
Fair Dealing - the law in Canada (why does their chosen, US-based, tax collector not get this?) does NOT REQUIRE YOU TO CONSULT WITH, NOR PAY, REGISTER, INFORM or otherwise interact with them.
The other law quoted - that of the United States of America - doesn't either, but that's a moot point as we are not in the U.S.
If, for some reason, the CBC feels that it should somehow try to collect MORE money from the Canadian public, the least they could do is use a Canadian firm to do it rather than the US (icopyright.net - Registrant: STARTUPBIZ.COM 2625 259th CT SE SAMMAMISH, WA 98075) company they've hired.
I'm on record as stating that the CBC has long outlived its usefulness to Canada and the Canadian tax payer. This is just another ongoing poke in the eye.
